A rare and sought after example of the legendary Dodge Viper. This, the 3rd generation Viper underwent a major redesign in 2003, courtesy of Daimler Chrysler's Street and Racing Technology group. The new Viper SRT-10, which replaced both the GTS and the RT/10 was heavily restyled with sharp, angled bodywork. The engine's displacement was enlarged to 8.3 litres which, with other upgrades, combined to increase output to 500 bhp and 525 lb·ft. Along with the power increases, weight was reduced into the 500 lb (230 kg) range. The chassis was also improved. It became more rigid and weighed approximately 80 lb (36 kg) less than the previous model. Performance figures for this vehicle are shattering, 0-60 mph takes 3.9 sec, 0-100 mph is dealt with in 8.36 sec and the standing quarter mile time is 11.77 sec @ 123.68 mph The SRT-10's top speed is 195 mph.
